Identifying Old World & New World Label

Old World wines are typically named after the specific region in which they were grown whereas New World wines are usually named after they main grape they are made from.
An Old World Wine: A wine labelled Chablis would mean that the wine came from the Chablis region in France, as opposed to the grape variety actually used for the wine, which is Chardonnay grapes.
A New World Wine: A Merlot from California and another from Chile would both still be referred to as a Merlot as both are from New World wine locations.
